What this path does
Calls arrive on a number you publish or on the caller ID the outbound campaign presented. A greeting can play, then the call waits for a free agent. If nobody is free, the caller can leave a message instead of hearing a dead end.
The same agents can take inbound between outbound conversations, or a separate group can own the queue. A specialist will ask which of those the floor actually wants. Mixing them without a plan is how outbound agents lose the person they were about to dial.
Why outbound floors need it
People call back. If the number on the outbound call does not answer, the campaign trained them to ignore the next one. Inbound calling is how a smart dialer stays trustworthy.
The number itself is a US VoIP trunk question: local, toll-free, or both, and how many calls can be in the queue at once.
What to tell a specialist
Hours, the greeting you want, how long a caller may wait, and where a message should go after hours. No price list is published. The form is the request for that conversation.
